You may define several processes in a diagram; they will be treated independently by Unistep.
Unistep can export a selected stream or all streams in the diagram. To export a single stream, press the associated button. To export multiple streams, select each one (CTRL + Stream button). To export all streams, simply press the export button. Once selected, press the export button to start the process.
The parameters available depend on your licence (PRO / STD). Please see the licence comparison page. In the PRO version, these parameters are saved and retrieved in an XML file associated with the diagram.
Then press the export button. Unistep will animate the diagrams during export and generate an animated HTML file. When finished, it will display the generated file so you can assess the result.
All HTML resources for this animated output are generated in a folder you specify, per diagram. This allows you to export the same animation with different parameters (for example, SVG or PNG image type) into separate folders, by changing the export folder before launching the process.
To create an animated video file, press the Video button in the HTML export form (PRO licence only). A video control form will appear, where you can select the video quality. Options include the native diagram size or other presets, which you can modify and save.
Unistep can also generate simultaneous MP4 preview files, which you can embed in an HTML page for faster loading and link to the full video.
Unistep uses multi-core technology to generate video files (video generation is resource intensive). A video file is generated for each stream, in both normal and trail mode, as well as previews (if selected). At the end, Unistep generates a catalog HTML file containing previews and links to each video file. This catalog provides immediate access to all videos so you can quickly select the ones that interest you.
The generated HTML file contains all the streams you exported. You can select the stream you want to animate in the diagram, then control the animation step by step, or let it run automatically.
Unistep exports each selected stream in both normal mode and trail mode. You can switch the animation mode in the HTML file using the “trail” button.
The HTML file is final, ready to be used as it is, or published on a website.
