How to prepare
your Visio diagram for Unistep
To obtain the results shows in the previous pages, you must
define the processes ("streams" in Unistep speak) for Unistep in
your Visio diagram. That means define the stream steps. A steps
can be a Visio shape, or several shapes.
This is easy. At the beginning, you select in order the
shapes on your Visio Diagram, then associate it with a stream
button.

Create links between streams
Between two streams there are two types of links:
- Horizontal link: after the last step of
the stream A the process flow continues to the first step of
stream B. The process stops at the last step of stream B (if
it is not linked at its turn).
- Drill down link : at step "x" of the
stream A the process flow continues to the first step of
process B. At the last step of process B, the process flow
comes back to stream A, at step "x+1". At its turn the
process B may have steps linked in drill down mode of more
detailed processes.
